We’re a little late on our 16 month post, but here are the pictures of our 16 month birthday. We thought it was really fun to sit on top of the pumpkins.
Avery even picked his up. Strong boy.

New things: Aurelia shakes her head “no” to just about any question you ask her. We are both getting better at imitating words. So Aurelia can say “ice” and Avery says “zebra” and we try to say “nemo” and “dude”. We LOVE LOVE LOVE Finding Nemo (Avery does the “ah-oo-ah-ee-ah-oo-oo-oo” noise all the time). We also like Frozen. We love dancing and we can now show people our muscles (see videos below). We kiss each other a lot when we are in a good mood. Otherwise we bite each other (yikes). We have added the wolf sound and the walrus to our animal repertoire. Avery came up with the walrus sound all by himself (sounds like a big burp). We are now climbing on everything, too.
Look at how handsome this boy is! And so smart! He is sweet and sensitive.

And this girl is such a spritely little thing! Always full of energy. She gives the best besos. Also very smart and so pretty!

Aurelia kissing Avery as he was sleeping.

We enjoyed some of the last of our summer weather at the park.

Sadly for mommy and daddy, our eating skills are coming along rather slowly. We can’t promise that we got most of our dinner in our mouths…
We played in the leaves on Mt. Vernon.
We love time with Omi and Papa. Aurelia says “Papa” now 🙂
Waiting for the rain to stop. We kept saying “agua agua agua”.
Sometimes we play outside with mommy.

Playing with our new refrigerator magnets. Animals, of course!

We are especially cute when we are dressed as twinsies.

We are still practicing our artistic skills. Here is a picture of us finger painting… and nobody tried to eat it.

Here we are shopping for pumpkins! And then we helped mommy gut our little pumpkin. Aurelia wasn’t a fan of the slimy innards. (This pumpkin is what you get when mommy can’t find her pumpkin carving tools…)

As a follow up to our passport photo debacle, here are our newer and much better looking photos. Not great, but considering we are 16 months old and don’t like to hold still, they’ll do.
