Hello again!
We had our 15 month check up and shots! It was a bit traumatic for us, but luckily we are very healthy! Aurelia weighs in at 18.2 lbs, Avery at 20.5 lbs, and we are the same height! It was more traumatic for mommy and daddy… to prove it, here we are hamming it up for the camera later the same day.

Aurelia is napping!!! It must have been a tough morning, because this never happens. Capturing this moment during the day is like seeing Bigfoot riding a unicorn.

Lately we’ve been very into art! Here are some of our latest projects:
Making Omi and Papa a Happy Grandparent’s Day card! They deserve it. They are the best grandparents ever, and always take good care of us.

Coloring with crayons at the table.

Playing with corn starch and water (which daddy found even more fascinating than we did).

Coloring with markers (mommy is so so so excited about these magical markers that don’t draw on ANYTHING except this magical paper!)
Admiring his work.
We also do bathtub art.

Painting.

We are also working on learning our colors. Mommy colored our plain yogurt that we eat at breakfast so that we could mix (and eat) our colors.

We sometimes get to eat at the table now, although we like to drop things and say “uh-oh”. And look how well we can eat corn on the cob now!

We still love to make our animal sounds. Here is what Avery thinks lizards say…
Watching Gallina Pintadita and saying uh-oh when it stops… and Aurelia snorts like a pig.

We got to see our buddy Nico again! This time we really got to play with him, and it was so much fun. Nico and Aurelia had a really good time together throwing things in the kitchen.
Little buddies!
We also celebrated daddy’s birthday! He had to work, but we made him enchiladas and cheesecake when he got home 🙂
Aurelia finally got her first pair of sneakers. So grown up!
There’s nothing better to play with than a good old box! And a mommy behind you to push you around in it.
We like to go on walks in the evening to see the neighbors’ doggies.

Sillies. We love to smile at the flash.
Aaaaand here are our passport photos. Walgreen’s fail. We think mommy should try to take them at home. These are too horrible. (But also funny).
And while we were waiting, mommy and Aurelia played with the camera.
And in bigger news, we are really trying to say more words now! We “say” more please (but just the intonation, not the words), and we try to say “ball”, “bear”, “zebra” and “poo poo”. 🙂 We still prefer to say “uh-oh” for almost every occasion, however.

And here we are feeding ourselves yogurt! We are very generous and especially like feeding other people.
