Joshua and I are so excited about being parents, and we wanted to create a blog so that our family and friends who are far away can follow along and be a part of this special time with us.

After finding out I was pregnant, I could hardly wait for my doctor’s appointment and first ultrasound to see what was going on in there!  Little did I know I had two tiny surprises in store for me!

Two babies!  I couldn’t believe it- two babies, two bunnies, two parents, and a cat!

Here is my first ultrasound, at 7 1/2 weeks.  I was surprised that I could hear and see their little heartbeats!  There is nothing like that sound to make the whole thing feel real.

At home that night, I gave Josh the photos.  After postulating that perhaps it was a photo of my ovaries, kidneys, or other organs, he decided we were having twins 😉  We were both so excited, and tried to keep our little secret(s), and I tried to wait patiently for my next appointment!
